experimental surreal visual landscape— created using hand shot underwater ice footage, — inspired by the sounds of space gathered from the NASA archives- using a process called “data sonification” scientist’s collect radio emissions and convert them to soundwaves to better understand the emissions. The resulting sounds inspire this work. The sounds collected from space incite feelings of primordial beginnings, eternal futures, and unused realms. They call on deep dream space and reflect the eternally morphing viscous nature of time.

This video is part of an experimental visual and sound installation.

This video is inspired by the sounds of space, dream space, and a deep desire to create new experiences. To communicate ideas through abstract visuals and sound that stir places inside of us that are uncharted and primordial.

In this piece I explore the sounds of a frozen moon that circles Saturn, Enceladus. It orbits Saturn like an icy ghost and is the most reflective celestial body in our solar system. From its southern pole it spews icy rock hundreds of miles into its orbit creating Saturn’s E ring. Enceladus may contain life beneath its frozen surface.

In this 60 second performance piece I explore electricity through translucent colored shapes controlled by carefully manipulating controls on a hand-crafted circuit plane, resulting in a curated light experience for an audience in the dark.
